We strive to provide quality services to our patients, thereby advancing public health and strengthening ourselves as health professionals.

Values

  • LEARNING NEVER CEASES: Phi Delta Chi holds its Brothers to a high standard of scholastic and professional responsibility. We acknowledge that a sound education is essential to our success as students and as healthcare professionals.

  • LEADER DEVELOPMENT: Phi Delta Chi places importance on the growth of individuals and the collective Brotherhood through social, personal, and leadership opportunities, beginning with fraternal education and continuing throughout our professional careers.

  • BROTHERHOOD: Phi Delta Chi is not the standard, but rather the example that others follow. Our Ritual and traditions stand as proof of an unconditional union with our Brothers. Our sense of Brotherhood goes beyond the collegiate level. Brothers maintain communications and assist each other across the nation and throughout our careers. This provides a level of security and comfort as “Each Needs the Help of the Other.” We are Brothers for Life.

Phi Delta Chi History

The Phi Delta Chi Omicron chapter was founded May 7th, 1909, and is proud to celebrate over 100 years of history at the USC School of Pharmacy. Our Brothers take great pride in our many distinguished awards and achievements. Here's to 100 more years of changing the way pharmacists shape our world!

Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity is a co-educational national professional fraternity formed on November, 2nd, 1883 at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor by 11 pharmacy students. Since then, more than 50,000 students have made the decision to become members of Phi Delta Chi.

The objective of Phi Delta Chi is to advance the science of pharmacy and foster a fraternal spirit among its members. Phi Delta Chi has chartered over 70 active chapters at colleges of pharmacy in the United States.

Phi Delta Chi promotes brotherhood among its members; these close relationships built between members often last a lifetime. Unlike other non-fraternal pharmacy organizations, Phi Delta Chi demands a commitment from its members but provides immeasurable benefits in return.

Phi Delta Chi provides the pharmacy student with leadership skills and a chance to work with people. These traits have enabled many students to lead this profession into the 21st century. The pharmacy profession continues to look to Phi Delta Chi for the leaders of tomorrow.
